One Of A City, Two of a Family?<\/p>\n
\u201cI will take you one of a city and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion;\u201d a quote from Jeremiah 3<\/a>:14 below. Can I be one of the taken? We are very, very close, somethings still must be done, but they are getting to be much fewer, daily. Pay attention to the \u201cI will gather the nations\u201d statements.<\/p>\n Everyone that takes the time to read this, should consider where they stand with HIM.<\/p>\n Jeremiah 3<\/a>:<\/p>\n 13\u00a0Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every leafy tree, and ye have not hearkened to My voice, saith the LORD. Zephaniah 3:<\/a><\/p>\n 8\u00a0Therefore wait ye for Me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey; for My determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them Mine indignation, even all My fierce anger; for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of My jealousy. Zechariah 14<\/a>:<\/p>\n 2\u00a0For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, but the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Isaiah 66:<\/a><\/p>\n 14\u00a0And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like young grass; and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward His servants, and He will have indignation against His enemies Joel 4:<\/a><\/p>\n 2\u00a0I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.<\/p>\n Ezekiel 39:<\/a><\/p>\n 21\u00a0And I will set My glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see My judgment that I have executed, and My hand that I have laid upon them. Exodus 12:<\/a><\/p>\n 47\u00a0All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. Ezekiel 36<\/a>: [We are back in the Land of Israel, but not because we have been righteous!!]<\/p>\n 16\u00a0Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying: The Remnant<\/p>\n Isaiah 10:<\/a><\/p>\n 20\u00a0And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and they that are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. Isaiah 51:<\/a> So we have lots of evidence and many sources, declaring their vision and HIS WORDS regarding the world and HIS people. I find it cause for contemplation.<\/p>\n
\nWhy so few? \u00a0In the last day are WE so bad? — YES, We Are.<\/p>\n
\n14\u00a0Return, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am a lord unto you, and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion;
\n15\u00a0and I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
\n16\u00a0And it shall come to pass, when ye are multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more: The ark of the covenant of the LORD; neither shall it come to mind; neither shall they make mention of it; neither shall they miss it; neither shall it be made any more.
\n17\u00a0At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem; neither shall they walk any more after the stubbornness of their evil heart.<\/p>\n
\n9\u00a0For then will I turn to the peoples a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve Him with one consent.
\n10\u00a0From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia shall they bring My suppliants, even the daughter of My dispersed, as Mine offering.
\n11\u00a0In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against Me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee thy proudly exulting ones, and thou shalt no more be haughty in My holy mountain.
\n12\u00a0And I will leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall take refuge in the name of the LORD.
\n13\u00a0The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies, neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.<\/p>\n
\n3\u00a0Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fighteth in the day of battle.<\/p>\n
\n15\u00a0For, behold, the LORD will come in fire, and His chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.
\n16\u00a0For by fire will the LORD contend, and by His sword with all flesh; and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
\n17\u00a0They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go unto the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the detestable thing, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.[These are a false people.]
\n18\u00a0For I [know] their works and their thoughts; [the time] cometh, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and shall see My glory.<\/p>\n
\n22\u00a0So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God, from that day and forward.
\n23\u00a0And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they broke faith with Me, and I hid My face from them; so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they fell all of them by the sword.

\n48\u00a0And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land; but no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
\n49\u00a0One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.’
\n50\u00a0Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
\n51\u00a0And it came to pass the selfsame day that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.<\/p>\n
\n17\u00a0‘Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings; their way before Me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
\n18\u00a0Wherefore I poured out My fury upon them for the blood which they had shed upon the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols;
\n19\u00a0and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries; according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
\n20\u00a0And when they came unto the nations, whither they came, they profaned My holy name; in that men said of them: These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of His land.
\n21\u00a0But I had pity for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, whither they came.
\n22\u00a0Therefore say unto the house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord GOD: I do not this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye came.
\n23\u00a0And I will sanctify My great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
\n24\u00a0For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.<\/p>\n
\n21\u00a0A remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto God the Mighty.
\n22\u00a0For though thy people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them shall return; an extermination is determined, overflowing with righteousness.
\n23\u00a0For an extermination wholly determined shall the Lord, the GOD of hosts, make in the midst of all the earth.<\/p>\n
\n15\u00a0For I am the LORD thy God, who stirreth up the sea, that the waves thereof roar; the LORD of hosts is His name.
\n16\u00a0And I have put My words in thy mouth, and have covered thee in the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion: ‘Thou art My people.’<\/p>\n
