Why Are Most Of Us Worse Than The Pharaoh in the Exodus?

Why are most of us are worse than, the Pharaoh in the Exodus Story?

We spend our lives, not learning what is really important. That GOD is; also that Your soul, which is more valuable that anything you can desire, is yours to save or lose.

The Hebrews were out of Egypt in a few months of the LORD sending Moses and Aaron, which came, and said unto Pharaoh:,  ‘Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel: Let My people go, that they may hold a feast unto Me in the wilderness.’ “Exodus 5:1

Yes! Most are worse than Pharaoh, King of Egypt, which Moses and Aaron faced for the LORD.

I will show why that statement is True. It is a rather harsh statement, even if it is true, so why do it now?

We are at the Last Days. Here are some of what was missing in times past, when end did not happen.

Is there a Land Of Israel? YES! After 2000 years, yes!

In the Place that promised to to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by the Almighty GOD? Yes!

Yes, but not in the full size. True, Not Yet!

Did this State of Israel happen in One Day? Yes It Did.

Has this happened with any other nation, that it became a Nation Before the World, in one day? Never!

The Living  GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, always tells us the end  at the beginning. So in:

Isaiah 66:
“8 Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Is a land born in one day? Is a nation brought forth at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”

Do they Speak Hebrew there? Yes.

Is the National currency the Shekel (New Israel Shekel) at the time of Ezekiel’s Temple?(Ezekiel 45:12) Yes it is. So what?  We are out of time!

The Last Day  Prophecies are almost finished.

Everything in the Written Torah is done on the Witness of Two or More.

So let us first look at the doubles which are incomplete.

The Destruction of the Earth, first by Water. The Next by Fire. The fire is not yet done!
As a teaser only: Isaiah 66: “15 For, behold, the LORD will come in fire, and His chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. 16 For by fire will the LORD contend, and by His sword with all flesh; and the slain of the LORD shall be many.”

The Exodus from Egypt, was only one time so far. A gathering of the Children of Jacob from a power much greater then Jacob. So what does that mean? Well there will be a second Exodus/ a Gathering.

The evidence for this second gathering, besides having only happened once so far is:

Isaiah 11:
10 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the root of Jesse, that standeth for an ensign of the peoples, unto him shall the nations seek; and his resting-place shall be glorious.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord will set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, that shall remain from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 And He will set up an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the dispersed of Israel, and gather together the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Jeremiah 16:
14 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said: ‘As the LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’
5 but: ‘As the LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the countries whither He had driven them’; and I will bring them back into their land that I gave unto their fathers

Jeremiah 23:
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say: ‘As the LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt’;
8 but: ‘As the LORD liveth, that brought up and that led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all the countries whither I had driven them’; and they shall dwell in their own land.

So are verses 7 and 14 true? Yes, the exact wording in in Exodus 6, Exodus 7, Exodus 12.

Okay? So the important items are Completed Twice or More.

Back to Pharaoh. Let us now take a look at how hard his heart was. In Exodus 5: “1 And afterward Moses and Aaron came, and said unto Pharaoh: ‘Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel: Let My people go, that they may hold a feast unto Me in the wilderness.’” [A couple of side notes here please. First, Moses was told prior to meeting with Aaron, while on his way to Egypt by THE LORD:  Exodus 4:”22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh: Thus saith the LORD: Israel is My son, My first-born. 23 And I have said unto thee: Let My son go, that he may serve Me; and thou hast refused to let him go. Behold, I will slay thy son, thy first-born.’-”. So Moses already knows that Pharaoh will not listen this time. Much is to happen before the Hebrews are let go. The Point is that although Moses KNOWS this is coming, it appears Moses does not actually know! Second, Exodus 7: “1 And the LORD said unto Moses: ‘See, I have set thee in God’s stead to Pharaoh; and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.” And if Pharaoh had just did as commanded, the death of his own son, and the loses for his kingdom would have been avoided.]

Pharaoh does not listen and so begins ten plagues, and the loss of many peoples lives, property, and so much more. Let us for a moment take a look at the second plague, FROGS. Pharaoh knows that it is not in the power of his kingdom to perform or remove the frogs, So he calls Moses as says:

Exodus 8:
“4 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said: ‘Entreat the LORD, that He take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice unto the LORD.’” This is great, Pharaoh has learned and given in, easy! Not really, and yet:
“5 And Moses said unto Pharaoh: ‘Have thou this glory over me; against what time shall I entreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, that the frogs be destroyed from thee and thy houses, and remain in the river only?’
6 And he said: ‘Against to-morrow.’ And he said: ‘Be it according to thy word; that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.
7 And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.’
8 And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh; and Moses cried unto the LORD concerning the frogs, which He had brought upon Pharaoh. 9 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courts, and out of the fields.”

Maybe you are asking, What is it that you are pointing out here?  In this one thing, Moses asks Pharaoh what should be done about the frogs. Pharaoh tells Moses and it happens the way Pharaoh said.  If Exodus 7:1 were not correct, Moses could not have gotten the frogs removed in the way and time Pharaoh said. Hence it should appear to Pharaoh that Moses is god and Aaron is his prophet. We should have taken more notice of the relationship between Moses, Aaron and THE LIVING GOD. As the Children of Jacob, we,m for the most part still do not understand.  These actions really do not change Pharaoh’s heart nor his ways, and so we have more plagues and pain. Even after the Death of the First Born, it is impossible for Pharaoh to not chase the Hebrews into the desert, and drown his army in doing so.  Pharaoh does kind of learn, but in the end he has no choice, and no son. By the way, remember that Moses was told about the death of the first born before meeting Aaron while going back to Egypt.

This story is to be reviewed by the Children of Jacob, every year during Passover Feast. So with more than 3,000 Passover Seders, and all of this retelling, do we understand any better than Pharaoh? It would appear Not to have been learned yet.

Things have not changed very much at all. The Hebrews learn that they are the Children of Israel/Ishrael, and that their GOD, the LIVING GOD of their Fathers has a small set of rules, which when we keep this faithfully, gains us great favor and glory with our GOD. We are then a Kingdom of Priest, a HOLY, RIGHTEOUS People.

As in Exodus 19:
”5 Now therefore, if ye will hearken unto My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be Mine own treasure from among all peoples; for all the earth is Mine;
6 and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.’”

BUT ONLY WHEN WE DO verse 5, is verse 6 then true!

We are not there. Never have we(the Big WE) been there, doing verse 5. Moses from that verse until the end of his life is trying to get us to do verse 5. Most of us have not and will not learn this and so will not return to do as Required by the LORD. But we, or at least a few of us will be that Kingdom Of Priest and Holy Nation.

Right about now you could be saying, but WE ARE A HOLY NATION! Not so! We claim the position, yet refuse to take heed, and change our ways. We have seriously been punished, over and over and over again. Always brought back from the brink of nothingness, by THE LORD. We don’t learn, for the major number of the remnant after each event. We don’t learn and do not change.

Still believe that We are Holy, doing what we do continually, then you should look seriously at the prophets. Like:

Ezekiel 14:
19 Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out My fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast;
20 though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
21 For thus saith the Lord GOD: How much more when I send My four sore judgments against Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the evil beasts, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast.
22 And, behold, though there be left a remnant therein that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters; behold, when they come forth unto you, and ye see their way and their doings, then ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it;
23 and they shall comfort you, when ye see their way and their doings, and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.’
Now what if anything does this have to do with us?

I am so glad that you asked that question. Let us look at just the latest iteration of the curses and events of Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 27 through 32. In Leviticus 26, it comes in waves. As in verses:
23 And if in spite of these things ye will not be corrected unto Me, but will walk contrary unto Me;
24 then will I also walk contrary unto you; and I will smite you, even I, seven times for your sins.
And:
27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto Me, but walk contrary unto Me;
28 then I will walk contrary unto you in fury; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.

The point is that while The LIVING LORD, is punishing us because of our actions and hard heart, HE checks on us to see if we have changed and so that we are not Utterly Destroyed from the Earth. The latest version of this punishment and recovery is the European Holocaust. What has this to do with Ezekiel 14?
Look at the behaviour of the survivors. Did they complete the Return unto the LIVING GOD, or are they still fighting HIS LAWS, HIS TEACHINGS, declaring anything but that. So look at Isaiah 29.

Isaiah 29:

13 And the Lord said: Forasmuch as this people draw near, and with their mouth and with their lips do honour Me, but have removed their heart far from Me, and their fear of Me is a commandment of men learned by rote;

14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the prudence of their prudent men shall be hid.

15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say: ‘Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?’

This was part of a writings I did several years ago.  Isaiah 29 – A Set Of Prophecies

There are many like that. Example Isaiah 58:

2 Yet they seek Me daily, and delight to know My ways; as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God, they ask of Me righteous ordinances, they delight to draw near unto God.

3 ‘Wherefore have we fasted, and Thou seest not? Wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and Thou takest no knowledge?’–Behold, in the day of your fast ye pursue your business, and exact all your labours.

4 Behold, ye fast for strife and contention, and to smite with the fist of wickedness; ye fast not this day so as to make your voice to be heard on high.

So over and over the Lord sends HIS prophets to teach us HIS Ways, instead of learn we fight back. Just as Korah did in Numbers 16 and 17

Do you remember what happens when we do return to the LIVING GOD OF ISHRAEL?
Deuteronomy 30:
“1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt bethink thyself among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
2 and shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and hearken to His voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul;
3 that then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the peoples, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
4 If any of thine that are dispersed be in the uttermost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will He fetch thee. . . . .”

We are at the time of the Death of the First Born, on our time line. Yet for us it will not be the death of our first born, but most likely the realization that we could have, should have and did not take up the Written TORAH, by the Hand Of Moses and perform what the LORD has declared we are to do.

Did you notice the Israel/Ishrael I wrote earlier? It is not a misprint or a typo. In short ISRA = struggles EL = GOD versus ISHRA = Upright or Righteous of EL = GOD. The vowels in the TORAH we personally own are not in the Written TORAH (Scroll) or the original writings, placed there by sagas and rabbis later. The point is that we change the meaning and text, instead of striving to understand what the LORD told us we would understand.

Deuteronomy 30:
“11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not too hard for thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say: ‘Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?’
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say: ‘Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?’
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Each of us must stop being Pharaoh in our heart. We are at the end, and if you can not return to the LORD and HIS Covenants now, then . . . . .!

No, the 1968, Blood Sweet and Tears song is not going to work out well. “I can swear there ain’t no heaven but I pray there ain’t no hell”.

This will not save you, and there is massive evidence that THE LIVING GOD Of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, IS.  Maybe it would be best to change you ways.
There you have it. We really are worse that the Pharaoh of the Exodus Story. While in a few months things changed then. We have had all of the time from that day to this, with all of the evidence of our families and community and history of the world, we still can not see, understand or change. There is one major event remaining. Where are you going to be in this event? Where will you be for the World To COME?

Don’t have a Written Torah or Tanakh, try this one: JPS 1917 Version

IT is to your benefit to HEARKEN until the LIVING GOD OF ISHRAEL, and to your pain and shame to do otherwise.

If it is not already true, then My prayer is that The LORD grant you eyes that see, ears that hear and an understanding heart, then you return unto HIM soon!(Isaiah 6: 9 And He said: ‘Go, and tell this people: hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they, seeing with their eyes, and hearing with their ears, and understanding with their heart, return, and be healed.’)

My prayer is that The LORD grant you eyes that see, ears that hear and an understanding heart, then you return unto HIM soon!
