The unfortunate fact is, that the times may change, the people are actually still the same. So there is nothing new under the sun. I guess that really means that the Written TORAH and the US Constitution are still relevant today, the names are changed, the values remain, just as when written. (Substance of them remains valid.)
It is difficult to explain what I see in the world and in America. The volume and ferocity of events are new, but not the general actions or consequences.
People more often then not, are working against their own interest: emotional; future of family; physical; financial and spiritual well being. Until now I have not found a good way to express or define how we can continue to be against ourselves with such effectiveness. Well, . . . . There are the Prophecies in the Written Torah and the prophets in the Tanakh(Old Testament), of which I will not discuss now.
One person explained what was happening in Europe during the late 1930s and early 1940s regarding the news heard in his country, of what was happening elsewhere.
“People could find no place in their consciousness for such an unimaginable horror and they did not have the imagination, together with courage, to face it. It is possible to live in a twilight between knowing and not knowing. It is possible to refuse full realization of facts because one feels unable to face the implications of these facts .
Thus we have before us a highly complex situation, for even the availability of information and the acknowledgement thereof did not ensure that action would be taken in the direction of rescue.”

Unfortunately, what is described, makes reasoning and logic impossible. It also eliminates the ability to save oneself, loved ones and anyone else.
Do not close your eyes! Strive to gather courage and spirit, to accept what is happening. Seek understanding, you maybe able to act with knowledge, to do what is Right.
I know that the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941 was such an event. Yet, many were able to gather their wits about themselves, fight back and even save other people’s lives.
On the other side of the world, invasion and conquering forces, were met with little or no resistance. It was unimaginable for most to think that “they were not good Germans”, or that “our government will saves us”, even though for the last 5 years their living conditions, government status, pamphlets, public speech de-valued them as people. This did not happen on one morning, but was built up to over time. Why did so few even try to get out? The ones that did leave, were they the only ones to Hear and See what was happening?
It is easy to blame others for not coming to the rescue. Where does the first responsibility to rescue lie? Maybe the quote above is about more than just Switzerland. Maybe we are unable to see, that which we have been advocating, always leads to our own destruction.
Let us review the report:

History is very selective about what is recorded. In a little less than 6,000 years of history, most of it is unknown and unrecorded. That which remains, very few will ever learn from. So it goes: “Those that will not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” James Jeffries 2018

IT is to our benefit to HEARKEN until the LIVING GOD OF ISRAEL, and to our pain and shame to do otherwise.
My prayer is that The LORD grant you eyes that see, ears that hear and an understanding heart, then you may return unto HIM soon!(Isaiah 6: 9 And He said: ‘Go, and tell this people: hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they, seeing with their eyes, and hearing with their ears, and understanding with their heart, return, and be healed.’)
