Why would a loving GOD send people to hell?

A short answer is: HE Does not send you, you choose  to go, all on our own as a result of your actions. THE CREATOR upholds the Covenants(Contracts).

Maybe we can see it in another direction. Those that seek him, follow HIS LAWS which are not made by man, yet have been available as knowledge from Tanakh(The Old Testament), and yet, many prefer to stay ignorant or do not care, and are destroying themselves.

Do not be one of those who consider only yourself. Read all of Isaiah 27, here is a snippet of what you will find there:

Isaiah 27:”11….for it is a people of no understanding; therefore He that made them will not have compassion upon them, and He that formed them will not be gracious unto them. ”

Maybe you can understand this idea, We have refused our GOD, our CREATOR. We want to have someone else to blame, but in reality it is the person in you see in the mirror that failed you, NOT THE LIVING GOD ISRAEL.

Most of the people of earth, throughout time have not understood that each of US belong to GOD, can be acceptable to GOD and that We are to blame for our failings. Whether this is by our nature or simply the Blind leading the Blind, the Living GOD Of ISRAEL knows each of us, HE will determine and judge according to our individual deeds. (As THE perfect Judge, Judgment will be perfect.)  I will attempt to write clearly and succinctly.

The question “Why would a loving god send people to hell?” presents me with some obvious questions.

What is your definition of a loving god? I do not understand such a statement as a loving god. Maybe you like the idea that “Love is blind”, a loving god would just give everybody blessings without regard for behavior. This does not seem good.

I like this idea better: The GOD I PRAY TO gives each of us the opportunity to return to HIM by correcting our ways. That would be what I call a loving god. THE LIVING GOD OF ISRAEL, provides HIS OWN answers via his prophets. Like, Ezekiel addresses this question very nicely.

Ezekiel 18:25 Yet ye say: The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel: Is it My way that is not equal? is it not your ways that are unequal?
26 When the righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall die therefor; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
28 Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

—OR—

‘Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the man of iniquity his thoughts; and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have compassion upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.’

—OR—

Isaiah 65:1 I gave access to them that asked not for Me, I was at hand to them that sought Me not; I said: ‘Behold Me, behold Me’, unto a nation that was not called by My name. 2 I have spread out My hands all the day unto a rebellious people, that walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts; 3 A people that provoke Me to My face continually, that sacrifice in gardens, and burn incense upon bricks; 4 That sit among the graves, and lodge in the vaults; that eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels; 5 That say: ‘Stand by thyself, come not near to me, for I am holier than thou’; these are a smoke in My nose, a fire that burneth all the day.’ A GOD that does all of this when we act in this manner is a LOVING GOD, and HE STILL WAITS YOUR RETURN -today.

What do I get if I accept the GOD OF ISRAEL as my GOD and accept the Covenant of Abraham{Genesis 17:7..14 The Covenant of Circumcision: “8 . . . . I will be their God.”} to become One of the Nation (Exodus 12:47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. 48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land; but no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. 49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.)?

Exodus 19:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying: ‘Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel: 4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto Myself. 5 Now therefore, if ye will hearken unto My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be Mine own treasure from among all peoples; for all the earth is Mine; 6 and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.’

questions:

1) Who is “GOD”? THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE; a.k.a. CREATOR OF THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH; a.k.a. THE GOD OF OUR FATHERS, The GOD of Abraham, The GOD of Isaac, The GOD of Jacob; The LIVING GOD OF ISRAEL; and many more.

2) Is HE LOVING? YES. As every soul has the choice to choose GOD or not god. To those that freely choose HIM, We are very much loved, those that Choose HIM, Seek HIM, abide by HIS LAWS AND TEACHINGS with out exception, to them there is no possibility that HE is NOT LOVING!

3) What does that mean? The best way to understand a LOVING GOD, you should know that; Before HE started creation, HE knew the actions of all that HE Created. This is understood best when you understand the phrase “I tell the end, at the beginning so that YOU will KNOW, that I did it.”

In Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying: ‘My counsel shall stand, and all My pleasure will I do’;

HE knows and knew every detail about you; pain, sorrow, joy, health, choices, actions and the reasons for them. HE knows what you want, need and desire but you should ask for and be thankful for all of this, a LOVING GOD knows the consequences of every action, hence whether you do or do not receive your requests, you should leave it to HIS JUDGEMENT regarding what HE Gives you. If you are not acting according to number one and number two above and your actions are against HIM, then HE may let the desires of your heart come to pass –which will destroy you and yours, because we do not consider a difficult rule in physics. ‘For each action there is a equal and opposite reaction’, . . . .from theory of physics.

Consider: You really want a horse, but GOD knows that next week that horse will throw you and you will be paralyzed from the neck down for the rest of your life. Do you want HIS Perfect Judgment, or the horse?

4) What is hell? Called Shaol, mentioned a few times in the TaNaKH(Torah, Prophets and Writings). In Torah, Numbers 16:33 So they, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit; and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the assembly. –This chapter refers to the PIT in the ground, that they went to alive — hence we can assume that the normal entrance to the PIT in to be DEAD. Their bodies, their souls and all that they had went into the PIT alive, and the earth swallowed. Other places in the Prophets refer to the amount of evil and the need for GOD to increase the size of Shaol to accommodate. I believe that this is where many get the idea of Hell. I however find that the prophets regarding the last day and the Heavens and Earth to come will have no need for the Shoal any more.

Our problem is not that GOD IS NOT LOVING, it is that we are against GOD and therefore choose evil. We individually must choose to between good and evil. To know GOD is not required, but that you act righteously by keeping GOD’s Laws and Teaching, written by the hand of Moses(Isaiah 56).

Your choice is to do or not do and is yours alone. It is not the MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE’s choice, what you do, it is your choice. For that reason, you are responsible for what you do. It is up to YOU, by choosing GOD or not god?

Deuteronomy 30:15)  See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil, 16) in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances; then thou shalt live and multiply, and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.’
