This is my post on Face Book: James Jeffries: I am a little confused here. Let me see if I understand the new testament, a god loves man(made from the dirt), and cannot just forgive man,except that a human life must be given in payment. So, this god has a son the same as man and kills him so that god can forgive man(the dirt). He must kill his son for the dirt?
THAT DOES NOT QUALIFY TO BE MY GOD.
MY GOD SAYS Stop doing evil and do that which is righteous and only the righteousness will be remembered.
Example: “Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die; the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father with him, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son with him; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 21 But if the wicked turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all My statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.”
This seems fair to me. This is what MY GOD wants. But, you can choose for yourself, and must do so. It is your soul in the balance, what do you want? Shalom
