Patterns of Evidence: Exodus
When I heard about this movie and that it was available in the San Francisco Bay Area, I tried to spread the word that everyone should see this and decide for themselves based on what was presented and their own knowledge.
I am happy with my actions in this, I wanted more enthusiasm from the Jewish community. Although, during the movie I realized something important. There are a lot of people for which evidence and logic and science, leaving GOD out of this for this moment, hold fast to their accepted wisdom. This is true even when they, themselves declare the evidence true and then must say “it must be made up”, “this person must have been dreaming” or “we are already beyond considering any information that would change our opinion”. The last one was a paraphrase, but not far from the words.
Time for a quote:
The LORD TO Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 5:1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that doeth justly, that seeketh truth; and I will pardon her. 2 And though they say: ‘As the LORD liveth’, surely they swear falsely.
Jeremiah to the LORD: 3 O LORD, are not Thine eyes upon truth? Thou hast stricken them, but they were not affected; Thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction; they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return. 4 And I said: ‘Surely these are poor, they are foolish, for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the ordinance of their God; 5 I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they know the way of the LORD, and the ordinance of their God.’ But these had altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bands.
This passage from Jeremiah is like the scholars in the movie which repeats what I observe among the people on the earth. Yes, I have been around the world and know this is not everyone, but there are a great many people which teach others, that seem to be frozen in the heart and the head, such that nothing will be allowed which does not match what is inside already.
For myself, I thought of why I wanted to see if there was more information, more evidence than what I already possessed. Yet, In watching this movie and trying to get others to see it, I placed myself up for ridicule and maybe would need to consider my own opinions. If I am seeking to know GOD, should I not evaluate what ever evidence I can perceive?
Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: that I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like Me; 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying: ‘My counsel shall stand, and all My pleasure will I do’;
Isaiah 44: 6 Thus saith the LORD, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer the LORD of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and beside Me there is no God. 7 And who, as I, can proclaim–let him declare it, and set it in order for Me–since I appointed the ancient people? And the things that are coming, and that shall come to pass, let them declare. 8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid; have I not announced unto thee of old, and declared it? And ye are My witnesses. Is there a God beside Me? Yea, there is no Rock; I know not any.
I started writing this some time ago. In November 2015 the movie Patterns of Evidence: Exodus became available on DVD and BlueRay and for Public showings. Today I found the movie on Netflix and have finished about a third of the movie, just verifying that it is the same movie. It is the movie.

If you have any desire to know whether the Exodus has evidence in the ground, or are seeking a good detective story. You should watch Patterns of Evidence: Exodus now on Netflix. I completely recommend that you take the time to see, to decide on the evidence and then you will KNOW.
My prayer is that The LORD grant you eyes that see, ears that hear and an understanding heart, they you return unto HIM soon!
