Those are very oblique and very direct questions. Oblique in the part: “Of All Of This”. Direct in: “What is the Purpose”.
My short answer is: That the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth is waiting for HIS Children to be HIS Children. To do by our own choice and will, that which Our FATHER has said to do. This is true Wisdom(Holiness), and comes from Knowing Right and Wrong, then choosing by your actions, your will and intent, to do that which is Right.
What is RIGHT? The Actions, LAWS, Covenants and Teachings as Taught by The LORD GOD, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth; GOD of Abraham, GOD of Isaac, GOD of Jacob. Found in the Five Books Of Moses.
So, choosing to do that which is RIGHT, because the LORD GOD said so, without regard to ease of doing, what anyone else says or how you feel, is Righteousness and then Trusting that the LORD will take care of all of the rest. You are HIS CHILD, HIS Inheritance, HIS Treasured One.
All of your life is about giving you the chance to be that, . . . . “HIS Child(Righteous and Holy)”. One more thing. Everyone of us, in whatever form we are, in what ever problems we have had, can be one of HIS Children. Each has a Part of HIS Spirit in you, we call Soul, which was Righteous when HE gave it to you, and so Can be if you decide. This is the cause of the Statements: “Leviticus 19:2: . . . .Ye shall be holy; for I the LORD your God am holy.” Or “Leviticus 20:26 And ye shall be holy unto Me; for I the LORD am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that ye should be Mine.”. These are only two examples.
What follows is evidence of what was just stated.
In 5999 Years@, 10 months of our training time, very few have done this, becoming “Righteous and HOLY”.
In the Garden in Eden, we were given only One Rule: Do not Eat of THAT TREE. Yet the test was not about the Tree. It was about whether we would do what OUR FATHER said to do or not. We failed. In failing we became aware of doing Wrong.
While we are created from the dirt of the earth, but we also have the SPIRIT OF OUR FATHER in that Dirt*. The next test was, Will we choose to be like Our FATHER and listen to HIM when HE Gives advice, like: To Cain just before he his rage takes his brothers life.
“Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shall it not be lifted up?”
In our way of speaking: Why are you so Angry? and depressed? When you do well or right, will it not be acknowledged?
Back to the TORAH&: “and if thou doest not well, sin coucheth at the door; and unto thee is its desire, but thou mayest rule over it.’”1
In our way of speaking: “and if you do wrong or evil, which is always waiting for you; you will desire to do evil, but you can control your desires.”
A side track for a bit here. I have heard and read how if people will just seek beauty, love and wisdom, then we will be perfection. Yet, That is what Eve convinced herself of in the Garden in Eden just before she at of That Tree. To wit: “that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise,”2
Note: the word wise never appeared, prior to her deciding that doing wrong would make one wise. Not Wise in the least.
When I look around at people, we have not really changed since Eve.
As we read the rest of the WRITTEN TORAH, Writings of Moses, we assume that it is about people. It is not about people. It is about the ALMIGHTY’S teaching HIS potential children Right and Wrong so that each of us may Become HIS CHILD, to be lifted above the Flesh and dirt for the Next Heavens and Earth.
