Israel, August 2015, the temperatures have been as high as 100º+F with feels like 115ºF. Although even that is livable, with taking precautions.
This is the Promised Land,(The word of The LORD and the Writings of Moses say it better.)
4 Speak not thou in thy heart, after that the LORD thy God hath thrust them out from before thee, saying: ‘For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land’; whereas for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thy heart, dost thou go in to possess their land; but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that He may establish the word which the LORD swore unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
6 Know therefore that it is not for thy righteousness that the LORD thy God giveth thee this good land to possess it; for thou art a stiffnecked people. . . .
Deuteronomy 11, in short Moses explains that unlike Egypt which gets it water from the river. This land you go to possess is tended by THE LORD, 26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:
27 the blessing, if ye shall hearken unto the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day;
28 and the curse, if ye shall not hearken unto the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
–Moses goes on and on telling the what is good and what THE LORD YOUR GOD hates.
Ultimately this is GOD’S land, HE tends it, and if you are like the previous nations, you will be spit out also, and then some
.

12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and the forsaken places be many in the midst of the land.
So what has this to do with what I see in Israel in 2015? I see a land that is desert land, that has sprung to life without the lush, fertile loom 12 inches thick I saw in Illinois of the 1960’s. Such a soil is not here, and yet the LORD does bless HIS LAND and Fulfills that which HE Spoke concerning HIS land.

“I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. And I
will scatter you among the heathen, and I will draw out a sword after you; and your land shall be desolate

No man can stand here by deserted Ain Mellahah and say the prophecy has not been fulfilled. “ [Is Isaiah then True?]
Mark Twain, a man that at least in wit and observation I admire. He also said something in 1867 about NYC which I now apply to Israel. “I have at last, after several months’ experience, made up my mind that [New York] is a splendid desert—a domed and steepled solitude, where the stranger is lonely in the midst of a million of his race.” Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (1835-1910).
Or, Jeremiah 15:17 I sat not in the assembly of them that make merry, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of Thy hand; for Thou hast filled me with indignation.
The question you may ask is: Why would you think or feel such a thing?
When I was 5 years of age, I got my first New Testament, because I could read and memorized a verse in a contest to get it. When I was 6 years, I got my first King James Bible with concordance, and although I could not keep up with the preacher, stating verses as quotes, I would get to couple of them and read the verses, and read the verses, then read what came before and what came after. I felt hurt that I could not find anything written here like the preacher was saying. As the years pasted, I realized the this was just a show, the truth did not matter to anyone here. It was all political agendas and truth had no place here. Why tell you that? Because after a few decades I am still finding that the TRUTH is not wanted. Teachers are not responsible, religious leaders(Shepherds) are not responsible, and I am filled with sorrow at what of the people, both the Elect and the Stranger. My Hebrew is small, I am a strange in the Land Of Israel, and have received only a couple of slight acknowledgements to Shalom or Shabbat Shalom, even in Jerusalem, so I watch the people. How do they treat each other? Are the friendly? Curtious? Do they worry about one another? Maybe it is my strange appearance that is the problem. Openly friendly and caring, or watchful they do not appear to be. More closed down, worried about whatever it is they are worried about at the moment?
Some of the things that I have heard: Tour children are working to get out of the country. We are not trying hard enough to make peace. Religion is bad. The Government is bad. The Government is controlled by the Ultra-Orthodox and they keep having babies. The religious simply take money out of the government coffers and are a drain on the rest of us. We should be more like the world. . . . .
I could address each of these issues and over time I have with people in person. I present them only as a few of the issues that have been raised in various venues.
It is a troubling time. I would help them if I could, but, . . . . They(the young and the old) have been taught and have become that which destroys people and nations like. The ones hat I can hear and understand, spew forth the political statements they have been taught in every form of outlet here. The words are just words, without real thought which should generate understanding and change. NO these are just words and phrases, stated without understanding the consequences of the words or the actions being espoused.
So what does all of this mean? What can be done?
I have heard is said “A full cup can not receive anything.”
5 And the people shall oppress one another, every man his fellow, and every man his neighbour; the child shall behave insolently against the aged, and the base against the honourable,
9 Whom shall one teach knowledge? And whom shall one make to understand the message? Them that are weaned from the milk, them that are drawn from the breasts? 10 For it is precept by precept, precept by precept, line by line, line by line; here a little, there a little. 11 For with stammering lips and with a strange tongue shall it be spoken to this people;
9 Stupefy yourselves, and be stupid! Blind yourselves, and be blind! ye that are drunken, but not with wine, that stagger, but not with strong drink.
10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes; the prophets, and your heads, the seers, hath He covered.
11 And the vision of all this is become unto you as the words of a writing that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying: ‘Read this, I pray thee’; and he saith: ‘I cannot, for it is sealed’;
12 and the writing is delivered to him that is not learned, saying: ‘Read this, I pray thee’; and he saith: ‘I am not learned.’
But WHY?
13 And the Lord said: Forasmuch as this people draw near, and with their mouth and with their lips do honour Me, but have removed their heart far from Me, and their fear of Me is a commandment of men learned by rote;
14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the prudence of their prudent men shall be hid.
Are we then untrue to OUR ROCK? Our Redeemer? Yes. Do you know the LORD yourself? Do you know HIS laws and Teachings? Are you afraid of HIS POWER? Why not? Is Isaiah 29:13 a proper description of you? It is 100% accurate for almost every person now living. So we get verse 14.
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time; and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Is this not true today? Well not quite yet, we are still building to it. But it is very near. You are not afraid are you?
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.’
This is absolutely true. What we have discovered about the design of the Universe, Complexity of a cell, sub atomic physics, astrophysics, structure and complexity of proteins, aminos acids, DNA data bank, the tuning of the universe, . . . And today 10’s of thousands are in the air traveling at hundreds of miles an hour, going to places even on the other side of the earth in a few hours. Running to and fro –YES! Increased knowledge –YES!
We are in trouble. I seek any that have any desire to know. Even those that might be in the least bit friendly and not wicked and false in their relationship. Like:
17 I sat not in the assembly of them that make merry, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of Thy hand; for Thou hast filled me with indignation.
The last day comes and the WORD OF GOD IS TRUE.
6 Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near.
While I am alone and unwilling to act like everyone else in order to not be alone. I hope that you might hear and understand that now you need to change for the sake of your own soul. I would love to see you there in the new heavens and new earth. It will not be over crowded but we will all have truth as our core.
Comment: When I was in the U.S. Navy and had sailors to train, new recruits would ask, “How can you handle all of these regulations year after year?” My reply was: “When you know the law, you not only know what you can not do, but you know all of the things you can do and not get in trouble. You have more free time and rights than if you fight the system and so that you have everything going against you. I choose to work within the law. I have much more fun and freedom than you will have, fighting the rules.” GOD’s Laws and Teachings are about What HE HATES and how you should behave toward HIM and each other. That is not so hard. Just do what is Right and HE takes care of everything else!
