While I read, my mind connects pieces of information that I know, to the present text. This makes me a slow reader, perhaps because of all I have learned. One tool that has served me well is, asking questions about what I am reading. Much like a the Socratic method, where asking one question leads to more questions, with the goal of stimulating mental activity and strength.

The Wall is Truly a troublesome place, for a couple of reasons. First it does not face the Place The LORD placed HIS NAME.

This is my post on Face Book: James Jeffries: I am a little confused here. Let me see if I understand the new testament, a god loves man(made from the dirt), and cannot just forgive man,except that a human life must be given in payment. So, this god has a son the same as man and kills him so that god can forgive man(the dirt). He must kill his son for the dirt?

A couple of comments: 1) Ezekiel 24 is taken out of context, in that Ezekiel is speaking to those who are being taken away to Babylon, regarding what the LORD will do to those left behind.
